R – Stands for Right Axis Deviation
L – Stands for Left Axis Deviation
N – Stands for Normal Cardiac Axis
Cyan Blue Dots – Negative
Violet Dots – Positive
Three Lines depicts the 3 cardiac leads Lead I, Lead II & Lead III.
So, fundamental is- In Right Axis Deviation, Lead I will be NEGATIVE(Cyan Blue Dots) & like that both colored dots will represent both positive & negative.
Important things to notice-
- R, N & L are written according to the patients right side, neutral & left side(so, easy to remember)
- Observe the connected lines, you will find LEAD III connects with all 3 LEADS & connecting dots are ONLY VIOLET. LEAD II connects with only 2 LEAD & connecting dots are BI-COLORED ONLY, LEAD I itself doesn’t connect with any other lead(but LEAD III connects with LEAD I not LEAD I with LEAD III) so ALL SINGLE dots are CYAN BLUE COLORED(without soulmates).
